    About Consulting Revenue

Consulting Revenue exists for one job: giving boutique B2B consultancies a way to originate work on purpose, rather than waiting for the next referral. It is a specialist practice, not an agency, and every engagement is researched, run and supported by Peter O'Donoghue himself.

    The practice

The firm works exclusively with boutique B2B consultancies, advisory firms and expert-led professional services businesses, typically between £500,000 and £10 million in revenue. It does not work with those firms' end clients, and it does not sell lead generation, appointment setting or automated outbound sequences.

The offer is the Business Development Workshop: one day with the firm's team, prepaid and non-refundable at £5,000, the same price for every firm. The market research is finished before the day begins. During the day the team writes the plays and installs them in the tools the firm already pays for. Peter stays for thirty days afterwards while the team runs the system on live accounts. After that there is nothing further to pay and no licence to renew.

It is a subset of the flagship Total Business Development Rebuild, which is named but not yet separately scoped or priced. Firms that need something larger hear that on the call beforehand rather than after they have paid.

    Who runs it

Peter O'Donoghue has spent more than twenty years building business development functions inside expert-led B2B firms: the target markets, the offers, the pipelines, and the weekly discipline required to work them. He has built the function rather than advised on it from the outside.

He later founded an AI product, so he knows where the technology earns its keep and where it will embarrass a firm in front of a buyer. The practice's position is fixed: business development comes first, AI second. AI does the legwork — market scanning, research, reading the shape of an account, drafting preparation. A person keeps the commercial judgement and approves anything that reaches a buyer.

There is no delivery team behind the curtain. Peter does the research, runs the day, and answers every question in the month that follows. That is why only a handful of firms are ever underway at once, and why a date is usually two to six weeks out.

    Where we work

The practice is based at Lambourne House, Lambourne Crescent, Cardiff, CF14 5GL, United Kingdom. Work is delivered across the UK. Peter can be reached by text on +44 (0) 7967 974777, or through the enquiry form on the site, which emails him directly. There is no marketing platform, no mailing list and no automated sequence.

How to judge whether this is the right firm

A firm has a business development problem rather than a marketing problem when new work stops the month the best two people are buried in delivery, when referrals are treated as a strategy, or when nobody can trace a line from activity to a signed engagement. The diagnostic Peter uses is the origination number: of the last ten clients, how many did the firm go out and get on purpose.

The workshop is the wrong answer for firms that want a bot firing cold sequences at a purchased list, for firms that want done-for-you lead generation, and for firms unwilling to give roughly one hour a week afterwards. Peter says so on the call rather than take the booking.
